Made in our shop on the Big Island of Hawaii in the USA.
*Koa Grade Characteristics:
Figured Koa: color variations ranging from blond, through reddish to brown that run lengthwise with the grain of the wood and appear as ribbons
Curly Koa: compressed waves known as "curl", that run perpendicular to the lengthwise ribbon grain of the wood, and have a three dimensional appearance (additional cost).

Love it!
I had one of these hats before, but somehow managed to lose it. I was desperate to replace it and was thrilled to find the Winwoods website. The hat arrived within days of my order and is almost identical to my old one. Just the thing for tooling around in my convertible in SoCal! I absolutely love it. (Wish there were more choices of tropical themed fabrics - I’d love to have a whole wardrobe of these.)
